The SPEAQ Forum is back with a focus on supporting workers across Queensland to end men’s violence against women through effective Intervention Programs and beyond.
The SPEAQ Forum is our key professional development event, bringing the sector together to connect, inform, educate, and strengthen the passion that drives this work. The event has been held annually since 2009, paused in 2019 and 2020 only due to resource constraints and the impact of COVID. This year, the SPEAQ Forum returns as a 2 day event and is our first in a regional centre.
Our theme for this Forum provides a focus for exploring what contributes to effectiveness in DFV Intervention programs for those using domestic and family violence, and the multiple ways in which they connect with the surrounding systems in the Queensland context.
