We are looking for a Men’s Engagement Practitioner with a person-centred approach to men who have used violence, abuse and control tactics in relationships.
This YFS opportunity is for a male or non-binary identifying person to join our well-established Responsible Men facilitation team.
To perform this role, it is essential that the person who holds the position be a male or non-binary person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 that applicants identify as male or non-binary.
You will work alongside men to increase their knowledge of the court process and understand their domestic violence order. You will also provide appropriate referrals including to YFS’ Responsible Men intervention program, and complete assessments for program suitability to enhance safety and accountability and achieve positive behavioural change.
