About the role
Through inspirational leadership, the Prevention Team Leader will coordination the delivery of specialist domestic and family violence prevention programs. The role will ensure contemporary, efficient, and effective work with persons using violence and an integrated response and prevention approach to DFV. Your leadership will be the driving force behind the delivery of these essential services in Townsville and surrounding regions, ensuring advanced contemporary practice through continuous improvement.
You will inspire and guide a team towards achieving their goals, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. You will also play an active role as part of the Leadership Team contributing to the organisation’s innovative and collaborative strategic direction.
The role will represent the organisation to a high professional standard across the service system and throughout community, helping to ensure a placed based integrated response to victim survivors.
Salary and Benefits
SCHADS Level 6.1
Relocation package subject to negotiation
Salary packaging options up to $15,900 greatly increasing your take home pay (superannuation can be paid in addition to this, subject to any ATO limit where applicable – https://www.smartsalary.com.au/calculator/)
Christmas leave granted in addition to 4 weeks annual leave (pro rata basis)
17.5% annual leave loading
Monday to Friday working pattern with only occasional out of hours work
